Hello...
I have lived in Washingborough for over 25 years with my husband, Peter, and our two children (who have long since flown the nest). In 2018/19 I was fortunate enough to spend six months studying artisan baking full-time at The School of Artisan Food in Nottinghamshire. The course included breadmaking, patisserie, Viennoiserie, work experience, and the creation of a business plan, which for me turned out to be the genesis of Little Clowder Bakehouse.
I wanted to bake at home, work for myself, and spend my time doing something I felt passionate about... I wanted to set up a teeny tiny micro bakery. It was a long time coming, but I’m now selling and delivering my bread direct to my local community, and enjoying baking in my 3m x 3m garden studio.
I still have plenty to learn; making real bread is a craft. As my confidence and skills grow, so too does the pleasure and satisfaction of making real bread for my lovely customers.
Thank you so much for visiting Little Clowder Bakehouse.

P.S. A Clowder is a group of cats, and these three make up my little clowder. Trinity is 18 years old, Luna 13, and Coco was born in April 2024.
